10 years working throughout the Asia Pacific region in the maritime and logistics sector, based in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. Experience with handling large-scale intricate marine project tenders for oil and gas, and other resource clients whilst working for HKEX-listed ship-owners as a Commercial Manager. Contract structuring, broking and tendering skills further developed as a ship chartering and sale/purchase broker.
Simon James
(MEng in Mechanical Engineering)

Eight years experience as a Project Engineer working in the resources industry. Most recently four years at Australia’s largest independent oil and gas company working on the offshore assets. Simon is experienced at running and delivering technical projects in remote locations under demanding conditions. Simon has a keen interest in, and understanding of, the disruptive technologies that are emerging in the renewable energy space.
